Hours: 15 Months 0.6 FTE (22 hours per week)

Contract: Fixed term until March 2023 with potential for extension to a permanent role subject to further funding.

Salary: BG9: £25,481-27,741 pro rata

Join us in making a real different to museums in our region through our digital communications and events programme. We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual join our dedicated team to support the museum sector across the South West of England.

This is a new post and an exciting opportunity to influence and lead on our digital communications through our website, monthly newsletter and Twitter account. You’ll also work with the team on developing creative and engaging outputs such as films, resources and publications with marketing campaigns to make sure they reach the widest possible audiences.  A recent project involved developing an animated film The Secret Life of Pests which was featured in our July newsletter along with new resources to support museums in the process of commissioning a filmmaker and the film making process.

You will have experience in delivering digital communications activity and event management. A background in the cultural or not-for-profit sector would be beneficial. A proven track record in the management and delivery of digital communications, marketing and event management is essential.
