About

The Scaleup Knowledge Exchange (SKX) sessions allow scaling leaders to strengthen connections across the ecosystem and to discuss opportunities and barriers associated with high growth. Each session focuses on a key scaling challenge.

There’s a strong investment theme this time as we look at how financial preparations must scale as part of the pathway to a Series A equity raise. With a panel of experts ready to share their experiences of this major financial milestone, the audience will comprise business founders and their c-suite colleagues, senior finance leaders and investors.

Here's a summary of the format at the SKX sessions and why, we hope, they are different to other events:

  • Focused high growth businesses with the ambition and a plan to scale.
  • Small group format – expect between 10 and 20 businesses in the room.
  • Sector agnostic, allowing you to find common ground with a broad range of other leaders.
  • We’re all in the conversation; no speakers or presentations, just shared learning through a facilitated discussion.
  • Invited experts in the room who contribute to the conversation and who are well-placed to help you.
  • Only 90 minutes, starting at 9.30am.

The SKX sessions are hosted by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
