Through the Careers Hub, we work with secondary schools and colleges to transform careers education for our region’s young people.
We want our region’s young residents to have the skills, information, advice and guidance they need to reach their full potential.
Our Careers Hub encourages collaboration between education providers, the public, and the business community to provide positive career outcomes for our young people. We are supported by the Careers and Enterprise Company.
The focus of the conference is to support and inspire careers professionals who work with students with Special Educational Need and Disabilities (SEND). This is equally relevant for ALL of our schools and colleges – Mainstream, Special and ALP.
Opening presentations by variety of speakers including Ryan Gibson of The Gatsby Foundation and Hardeep Rai - a successful entrepreneur who worked with ex Dragon James Caan, with a powerful SEND story. These and other employers from a diverse background will be available to take your questions during a panel question time. Choose from a range of interesting workshops to update your knowledge.
